In this project, i would like to look at the how environment can play a role in the development of one's identity, both in children as well as adults. Reasons for such an environmental identity formation will be explored as well. "Types" of environmental identities include not only identity with regards to nature in general, but also to animals and specific places. Looking at the possible ways in which such an identity can affect behavior (especially in a social context), i would like to propose some possible ideas in which this environmental identity can be nurtured in singapore at both individual-level and group-level.
